Job Title: Business Development Associate
Salary: Up to £30,000 + uncapped bonus
Location: Remote/Hybrid (must be able to commute to Bury for training and induction)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Type: Permanent Role
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and develop new business opportunities through B2B channels.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
* Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
* Develop and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients.
* Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to achieve business goals.
* Provide excellent customer service and support to existing clients.
* Prospect and win partner business accounts through lead generation to securing contracts.
* Build successful partner customer relationships that increase incremental sales growth.
* Achieve personal sales quota/targets including gross profit and gross margin via sales activities.
* Devise a strategy for targeting your agreed market, sector or region.
* High contact of target market via different means to identify, nurture and close new and existing sales opportunities within account base.
* Build a sustainable pipeline of prospects to understand growth opportunities for new lines of business.
* Drive self-development, working closely with your manager to set objectives and plan activities to reach these.
* Any other required duties.
Experience:
* Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in telecommunications, audio-visual, or office hardware sales/support.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Driver's license essential.
* Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
* Articulate, driven, positive with a can-do attitude.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* A self-starting, confident, and pioneering attitude.
* Comfortable working in an autonomous environment.
* Comfortable working remotely.
* Experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
