My client is a highly successful and listed multi-site Leisure business head quartered in Bishops Stortford. The business is currently experiencing growth and as such is seeking to strengthen its finance team with a Finance Business Partner ( ACA/ACCA/CIMA). As part of a well-established team the successful applicant will have a fantastic opportunity to develop and enhance their skills and experience. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for delivering the annual budget and quarterly reforecasts, as well as live reporting on outturn position. Provide accurate and timely monthly Management Information to pre-determined timescales, including variance analysis and commentary (e.g. Period Actual v Budget, YTD Actual V Budget, Period Actual v Prior Year, YTD Actual V Prior Year). Detailed review of overhead P&L accounts on a monthly basis, leading to the identification of risks and opportunities. Ensure overheads are reported in the correct cost categories. Management of £200 million cost base Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, through regular reviews to aid and increase understanding of their business areas and make challenges where appropriate. Identify areas of cost overspend / potential cost savings Business partnering with operations Requirements: Experience of managing annual and quarterly budgets Experience of managing cost categories and cost centres through month end including accruals ACA or ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent) Excellent Excel skills Willingness to take ownership of numbers and ability to manage own workload Experience and confidence to build and maintain relationships with finance and non-finance colleagues Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to deal with people at different levels A self-starter who is able to manage and prioritise deadlines as well as manage expectations upwards.
