My client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper/ Junior Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our property portfolio.
This role involves managing rental income, ensuring timely rental collection, maintaining accurate financial records, and optimizing portfolio performance.
* Lettings and Management: Ensuring rent payments are matched against rent charges in CRM Following up with tenants on unpaid rent.
* Reporting rent arrears to property manager.
* Preparing landlord statements for remittance.
* Sales and Purchase Ledgers: Processing expenses (coding, getting approval, and processing for payment). Processing sales on QuickBooks.
* Reconciling Payments and Receipts.
* Reconciling Supplier and Customer Statements.
Requirements:
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Microsoft Office IT skills such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams.
* Qualifications (Desired) ICB, IAB, or AAT Level 3 Qualified.
Experience: Accounting: 2 years (required)
Permanent Pay: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
