We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Housing Needs Team as a Housing Projects manager with a focus on Sizewell C. The role: You will support the Strategic Lead in providing a comprehensive Housing Needs Service to residents in East Suffolk. Focussing on the project management of Sizewell C in a housing needs context. Sizewell C is a major infrastructure project that will involve the influx of a considerable workforce over the next 9 plus years. The impact on local housing will be considerable and work has begun to identify how to expand the number of bedspaces in East Suffolk to accommodate this challenge and to support local residents housing options that will be impacted by the construction project. What you will need: You will have at least 3 years’ experience of working in the housing needs/homelessness sector, experience of working within the public and knowledge of understanding systems of allocating social housing, including Choice Based Lettings. A relevant Housing qualification at a level 4 or above is essential for the entry point of this grade, with a formal project management qualification or at least 3 years proven experience in working in a project management field as essential for the higher level.
