Our exclusive client based in Lytham are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join their business. Duties include: Assist with monthly management accounts Maintaining the fixed asset register Accruals and prepayments Cash management and daily bank reconciliations Purchase ledger duties including processing invoices, dealing with queries and preparing payment runs Managing the credit control and liaising with account managers regarding any issues with customer accounts Assisting with VAT returns Update and maintain petty cash The ideal candidate will be used to working within a varied role where you will have covered both the transactional level accounts as well as assisting at month end. You need to have a positive can do attitude, be a genuine team player and be someone who takes pride in their work. The company will pay study should you wish to do that (this isnt essential).
