We are recruiting for an experienced Joiner for our award-winning retail window and pop up display company The Candidate must: Have a minimum 5 Years experience in a Bench Joiner/Carpentry role. Experience in shop fit or retail display bench joinery is beneficial. Be extremely well organised and have the ability to control the workflow of a number of projects simultaneously, in a highly demanding environment. Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Have the ability to highly motivate team members and demonstrate the talent to drive the team towards completing difficult goals set for them. Be able to read technical drawings Main Responsibilities: Work alongside the Production Manager to advise on best methods of manufacture Monitor stock levels Ensure that all works completed meet the high quality standards set by the Company. All completed works must pass stringent Quality Control measures. To encourage teamwork at all times whilst ensuring harmony amongst the team however able to discipline when required. Act quickly to inform management of problems with quality or project lead times so solutions can be found and potential issues rectified. Manage projects with flexibility to work additional hours to ensure projects are completed on time, which may include weekends when required. Maintenance of tools, equipment and machinery. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping within the factory Act as a Quality Assurance & Health & Safety champion, promoting safety awareness and excellent housekeeping.
