Job Title : MEP Quantity Surveyor Location : West London Salary : £50,000 to £55,000 £6,000 travel allowance & package Working Set up : 3 days office / 2 days remote Are you an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor keen to put your mark on a high profile infrastructure project? I have an opportunity for to do exatcly that - the successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the commercial success of the project whilst overseeing large key mechanical, electrical and plumbing packages on site in West London. The MEP Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for: Managing and issuing accurate, timely, and compliant notices and correspondence specifically for MEP work. Prepare and assess MEP applications, valuations, and cost/value reconciliations. Contribute to monthly reporting, covering MEP value, cost, profit/loss, cash flow, and budget. Oversee MEP applications for payment, as well as the preparation of payment certificates. Engage in risk and value management to optimize MEP solutions and monitor risks with the project team. Lead MEP supply chain contract preparation, negotiation, administration, and close-out. Maintain detailed project records, manage MEP-specific documentation, and coordinate meetings effectively. Provide MEP-related contractual guidance to site and project teams as required. Keep up-to-date with relevant construction and MEP-specific contract requirements, supporting sustainability and environmental policies on projects. The successful MEP Quantity Surveyor will need experience in the following areas: Strong financial and commercial acumen with a focus on MEP elements and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Excellent organizational and communication skills, with experience in drafting MEP-related contractual documents and supporting procurement. Background in MEP office management systems, document control, and minute-taking in a contractual setting. Proven experience in preparing MEP-specific reports, payment certificates, and contractual correspondence. Negotiation, teamwork, and leadership skills, with the confidence to advise and influence project decisions. Knowledge of MEP-related legal, contractual, and construction processes.
