What you'll be doing...
Taylor Shaw is looking to recruit a Catering Manager/Supervisor to manage our single intake primary school with growth potential.
As a Catering Manager/Supervisor, you will proactively manage teams on site to deliver an efficient, high-quality service for Elior UK to our customers and clients, as well as be accountable for inducting, training, and supporting colleagues.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for cooking 140-180 meals using a nutritionally balanced meal plan following Elior menus designed in conjunction with the school, using predominantly fresh ingredients where possible.
2. Motivating and managing a small team of 3 colleagues who will assist in the preparation and delivery of our school meals.
3. Controlling and managing a budget.
4. Accountable for ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting, and client liaison to enable operational excellence.
5. Responsible for preparing specialized medical diets for children where appropriate (detailed specific menus are provided).
6. Responsible for product ordering, maintenance of stock levels, and being confident of working to agreed budget levels.

6. Previous experience within catering is essential.
7. Minimum of a Level 2 Food Safety certificate.
8. A full DBS check will be required.
9. Full training will be provided.
