Are you looking to work for a business that is constantly looking to adapt with the times and is not afraid to invest heavily back into its sites & people?
If so, you are looking in the right place.
I am looking for a Night Shift Engineer to join a manufacturing company based in Hampshire. They supply to a large proportion of the UK's retailers, with GBP5M worth of investment scheduled over the next 12 months. As part of their investment drive, they are holding meetings across the engineering function within the group to see where the investment can be wisely spent. Not only does this give you an opportunity to improve the machinery you are working with, but it also allows you to play a part in the company's growth.
You will be joining at a time of culture change; therefore, if you are an individual who is hard-working and keen to work within a strong team environment, then this is for you. You will have multiple opportunities to see the factory beforehand, and you will be given the chance to speak to the already established engineering team to get a feel for the position.
Reactive maintenance is something of the past. We wish. So, you need to appreciate that this position does come with an element of firefighting. However, this is an area that is being heavily focused on to keep as minimal as possible.
We are looking for Engineers that have completed time-served apprenticeships within Electrical or Mechanical engineering, or at least hold some formal qualifications. If this sounds like you, then please do apply. Additionally, if you have food manufacturing or FMCG experience, this will put you in good stead, although it is not essential.
If you would like to know more about the position, then give Wayne a call or apply.
