About the Role:
A prestigious fire and security company is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Tutor to join their academy. As a Tutor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Fire & Security apprentices by delivering high-quality training in Fire & Security Systems. This role involves working between their academy sites in London and the East Midlands, making it ideal for someone based in Milton Keynes or Bedford.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Management Team to achieve development goals.
* Train apprentices to meet the FESS Level 3 Standard.
* Develop and deliver engaging learning materials.
* Create and promote commercial training modules.
* Provide classroom and online technical training.
* Ensure compliance with quality assurance procedures.
* Prepare and edit correspondence and learner documentation.
* Maintain the smooth operation of the training academy.
* Engage with external clients and agencies.
* Offer career advice and assist with apprentice recruitment.
* Coach and develop apprentices.
What They Are Looking For:
* Proficiency in IT (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Confident communicator, both verbal and written.
* Highly organised, methodical, and able to thrive in a busy environment.
* Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
* Ability to handle conflicting deadlines and multitask effectively.
* Experience and familiarity with Fire & Security systems.
* Previous experience mentoring Junior Engineers.
* Willingness to travel between East Midlands and London.
* Ideal location: Milton Keynes / Bedford.
* Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00.
