We are looking for an outstanding technical lead to be a key influencer in planning and implementing projects, working closely with the Head of Digital to align solutions with group and college objectives.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
* Educated & Experienced: You hold a relevant degree or industry qualifications, and have a strong background in IT technology, particularly in networks and server infrastructures, including cloud.
* Technical Expertise: You’re skilled in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies, with experience to deliver.
* Innovative & Resilient: You have a passion for innovation, a solution-focused mindset, and the determination to drive continuous improvement.
* Excellent Communicator: You’re able to engage and influence a diverse range of stakeholders, making complex technical information accessible to all.
* Experience of working in an education setting would be an advantage, but is not essential
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* You will manage the Digital Technology team and also serve as a trusted resource, supporting and training wider departmental colleagues, staff and students.
* You will have the chance to shape and maintain reliable and secure IT Services that directly impact the day-to-day activities of staff and students.
* You will be responsible for the management, installation, maintenance, availability and security of the College’s network, hardware and software systems.
* You will provide technical support (2nd and 3rd line), troubleshooting assistance, and guidance to ensure smooth digital operations.
