More about the role:
Role Purpose:
As our Premium Event Assistant, you will assist in the planning and execution of all event and non-event day operations at one of London’s iconic music venues, averaging 130 concerts a year.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the co-ordination and delivery of all events and ensure all functions run efficiently and effectively, serving as the point of contact during an event and managing a team across the premium lounges.
* Liaise with clients regarding requirements for each event and ensure that quotes, catering agreements, and invoices are prepared correctly.
* Assist with ordering for events as well as the set-up and breakdown of events.
* Inspire and be an ambassador for the business to deliver exceptional service to our clients and guests.
* Ensure that health, safety, and hygiene rules and procedures are always followed as a priority.
* Demonstrate full alignment with the Levy and client vision and values by consistently doing the right things and celebrating successes.
* Manage business needs and performance standards in line with Levy Signatures.
Person Specification
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a comparative role.
* Strong, quality operational experience with a passion for F&B.
* Articulate and numerate. Able to accurately prepare quotes and reports.
* Awareness of government legislation, including health and safety and employment law.
* Proven competence in using systems and/or technology to enhance operations.
* The desire and ability to lead, direct, and communicate effectively, inspiring others to achieve significant goals.
* A creative thinker with the drive and determination to get things done.
* The ability to interact personally and sensitively with others, fostering and developing talent through support and encouragement.
* A high level of influencing and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively with team members and managing stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
* Excellent skill set (menu knowledge, technical organization, time management).
* Understanding of production planning and optimizing resources correctly.
* Understand the financial impact of decisions taken.
* Highly confident and positive with a “can do” attitude towards work undertaken.
