As the Paragraf Production Manager, you will be responsible for the on-time delivery of our various graphene-based products. Managing a team of skilled Technicians based in our Wafer Fab, you will ensure that daily operations are focused and aligned with the departmental KPIs.
Working closely with Supply Chain, Quality, Production Planning, H&S, Facilities & Equipment Engineering, the Production Manager will be key in coordinating supporting activities to ensure the Production line is running efficiently, effectively, and safely.
The Production Manager will also be responsible for driving improvements through CIP, OEE projects, and cost-down activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage all Production team Technicians, Senior Technicians, and Team Leaders covering FEOL, BEOL, and Test operations.
2. Manage the wafer fabrication Production Line ensuring it is well balanced and that WIP levels reflect current sales demand and forecast.
3. Assist the Manufacturing Director to develop and grow the production facility, services, and team, in line with the requirements of the technology and product roadmaps for the business.
4. Develop, own, and manage the processes, procedures, and policies required to operate a robust, safe, and effective production line.
5. Work with senior management to develop and own the company's production roadmap to deliver products enabled by the technology roadmap.
6. Deliver novel and inventive manufacturing strategies to support the product delivery roadmap.
7. Engage with external strategic partners, where required, to scale future product delivery.
8. Collaborate with Process Engineering teams to deliver on key OEE projects to improve effectiveness.
9. Help deliver Yield Improvements projects across all Paragraf products.
10. Coordinate wafer trials and experiments for new processes and products with Development teams.
11. Complete other duties as requested by the Manufacturing Director.
Requirements
Education and Qualifications:
* Educated to degree level in materials or engineering disciplines.
* Relevant professional certification related to engineering or materials science is advantageous.
Experience:
* Experience in a manufacturing management role leading and managing a team effectively.
* Multi-project management experience with a strong track record of achieving project delivery.
* Strong experience with NPD/NPI processes for innovative technologies.
* Experience with MES and ERP systems.
* Understanding of corporate processes and procedures.
* Experience managing product quality and delivery.
Skills and Knowledge:
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and tools.
* Ability to learn quickly and respond positively to feedback.
* Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
