This role emphasises efficient sourcing, team coordination, process enhancement and supplier relationship management. Key Responsibilities: Managing end-to-end Procurement and Supply Chain processes to optimise pricing, quality, delivery, risk control, and terms for internal and external customers Overseeing day-to-day operations of the UK Well Intervention product line Allocating work and leading, mentoring and managing the team, aiding skills and development training Attending project meetings to identify risks and supply issues, fostering collaboration and problem-solving until project completion Quickly resolving supply chain disruptions to minimise operational impact Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including operations, rentals and sales teams, to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of products/services, while providing regular schedule updates Negotiating contracts and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure favourable terms and pricing Monitoring supplier performance and conducting regular business review meetings Cultivating strong supplier relationships with clear expectations and open communication Evaluating suppliers and maintaining the Approved Supplier List (ASL) following department procedures Participating in cost reduction initiatives and Non-Conformance meetings Representing the department in all customer and regulatory audits (e.g. API, ISO, FPAL, etc) Contributing to Supply Chain procedure development and compliance with international standards (e.g. ISO, API) Achieving departmental goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) Collaborating with Supply Chain departments across the organisation to enhance purchasing practices and standards Qualifications/Skills and Experience: Essential: Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) qualified or equivalent, or working towards the qualification with strong knowledge and experience of Supply Chain practices and procedures. Proficient in business ERP & MRP systems, particularly Microsoft D365, with advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications. Highly proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, reporting, and presentations. Significant proven experience in supply chain management in a leadership or supervisory role Financial and Numeric literacy within a business environment Highly proficient in spoken and written English Full Driving Licence Desirable: Good knowledge and experience of the Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment, including the ability to understand technical drawings, raw material requirements and manufacturing techniques ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Lean/6-Sigma/Green or Yellow Belt certification Personal Qualities Excellent communication (both written and oral), influencing and interpersonal skills Strong leadership and negotiating skills High degree of commercial acumen Highly professional conduct High levels of drive and personal accountability Positive mental attitude Logical thinker with structured problem-solving ability Must be willing to travel and able to spend time away from home Closing Date: 05 July 2024 Apply Now Print Back To Search Results
