Job Opportunity: Exams Officer Location: South Birmingham Type: Temporary to Permanent Start Date: ASAP Salary: Grade 3, Point 15-22 (£29,093 - £32,654) | Actual: £26,185 - £30,060 (Negotiable for the right candidate) Are you an experienced and highly organised Exams Officer or experienced school administrator with a passion for education? We are working with a secondary school in South Birmingham to recruit a dedicated Exams Officer to join their supportive team and ensure the smooth running of the exams process. About the Role: This is a full time, term-time-only position (plus 1 additional week) with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. You will play a key role in overseeing and organising all aspects of the school’s examination processes, ensuring everything runs smoothly and complies with relevant legislation. Key Responsibilities:
* Managing all internal and external examinations.
* Supervising and organising a small team of invigilators.
* Maintaining accurate paper and electronic information systems.
* Ensuring compliance with examination policies and legislation.
* Supporting students and staff during examination periods.

* Experience working in an educational setting.
* Proven ability to supervise and organise a small team.
* Excellent ICT skills and the ability to maintain information systems.
* Strong command of written and spoken English.
* Working knowledge of examination policies and relevant legislation.
