Role: As a Key Account Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing Polypipe Civils & Green Urbanisation's profile, product awareness, and sales on a national basis within the Water Sector.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00
Responsibilities:
1. Build lasting relationships with key personnel within the Water Sector businesses.
2. Understand their business model, sectors, and requirements.
3. Take ownership.
4. Solution sell to include RSXL and the wider basket of products and services.
5. Put together project teams (when required) and include the wider PPC&GU departments and manage through to conclusion.
6. Introduce key personnel from PPC&GU, WMS, and the wider Genuit Group to water sector contacts as required.
7. New product development - Identify solution gaps.
8. Achieve and surpass set budgets and KPIs.
9. Complete all mandatory training.
10. Attendance to trade shows, corporate events, displays, and meetings as and when required.
11. Liaise with distributor Water sector team/manager.
12. Maintain managed project log.
13. Always represent the company in a professional manner.
14. Make Polypipe Civils & Green Urbanisation the customer's first choice.
15. Group opportunities with projects and sell the full package.
Requirements:
1. GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or Equivalent Standard.
2. A graduate degree would be beneficial but not essential.
3. Previous experience working in the construction sector is desirable but not essential.
4. Previous experience in sales or account management is essential.
5. Experience within the water sector would be an advantage but is not essential.
6. Full UK driving licence.
