Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our client. This role will oversee and manage a range of civil engineering projects, primarily within residential and commercial sectors, ensuring their successful delivery from start to finish. As the Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in upholding their reputation for quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage multiple civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards.
* Oversee contract preparation, negotiation, and execution to ensure compliance with legal, client, and company requirements.
* Monitor project budgets, control costs, and forecast expenditure, ensuring projects are delivered within financial targets.
* Maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project delivery.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure projects are delivered on time and without compromising quality or safety.
* Provide direction, support, and guidance to site teams and other relevant personnel.
Key Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in contracts management within civil engineering, particularly on residential or commercial projects.
* Strong knowledge of contract forms, legal standards, and health & safety regulations.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a proven ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders.
* Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and financial management for construction projects.
* Ability to lead, motivate, and develop project teams to achieve high performance and project success.
What's On Offer:
