Admin Officer (AO) - Newcastle County Court
Brook Street is currently recruiting for an Admin Officer to work at the Newcastle Civil Family and Tribunals Centre.
You will be based in Newcastle and will be responsible for a range of admin duties, including:
1. Dealing with members of the public, which is essential for this role.
2. Post opening and dispatch.
3. Checking and preparing papers and files.
4. Photocopying.
5. Filing.
6. Creating and updating records on the in-house computer system - data inputting.
7. Working in a flexible way and undertaking any other general office admin duties reasonably requested by line management.
Skills Required:
* Fast and accurate data inputting skills.
* General IT skills with good knowledge of Word and Excel.
* Ability to identify, prioritise, plan effectively, and be target-driven.
* Good team player.
* Clear communication skills, professional behavior, and excellent customer service.
* 5 GCSEs including Maths and English or equivalent.
This position is Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, with a rate of pay at £11.59 per hour. This is initially a 12-month assignment; however, it is highly likely to be extended beyond that initial period. The location is ideal for public transport.
