Scottish Women’s Aid has an exciting opportunity to join their communications team. This is an influential and dynamic position, reporting directly to the Chief Executive. The Communications Lead shares responsibility for leading SWA’s communications work, campaigning, messaging, and delivering a media strategy in line with our strategic objectives.
Working collaboratively across Policy, Fundraising, member, and training teams at SWA, you will co-develop and deliver a communications strategy, identifying the best ways to leverage change through media campaigns around key issues for women, children, and young people experiencing domestic abuse. You will shape a wide variety of materials and outputs that support SWA’s broader advocacy and campaigning aims. You will devise engaging communications approaches and craft compelling content, including media responses, PR, press releases, briefing notes, and articles for a range of audiences comprising our network, partners, stakeholders, the media, government, and wider civil society. You will also co-curate our online presence, creating engaging content across a range of platforms, and be adept at analyzing engagement metrics and evaluating impact.

Women’s Aid South Lanarkshire & East Renfrewshire (WASLER) is a charity that delivers domestic abuse services to women and children across South Lanarkshire and East Renfrewshire while raising awareness of domestic abuse. We are currently looking for women to join our Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is responsible for the effective governance and strategic direction of WASLER.
We are looking to appoint a new treasurer to join our Board. The treasurer will be responsible for overseeing financial matters on behalf of our Board and will ensure that the organisation has robust financial processes to meet its legal and constitutional requirements. We are keen to hear from candidates that have experience in charity financial management and/or are chartered in a suitable accountancy field.

Glasgow Women’s Aid provides information, support, and temporary accommodation for women, children, and young people experiencing domestic abuse. We have refuge accommodation, follow-on services, and outreach services both for women and children across Glasgow.
Are you passionate about children and children’s rights? Do you enjoy working with children and do you have experience of working with children who have experienced trauma? We are looking for a CYP Outreach and Prevention Worker to join our team and provide vital support to children dealing with the trauma of domestic abuse. Our service is delivered to school-age children, predominantly in a school environment. You will provide therapeutic 1-1 and focused group work to children and young people, ensuring the service is driven by them and their needs. You will also deliver our unique prevention programme to schools across Glasgow to educate children and young people about domestic abuse in an age-appropriate way.
It is essential that you have experience of supporting children and young people who have experienced gender-based violence. A qualification relevant to working with children and young people, such as SVQ Level 3 Social Service (Children and Young People), is also required. The nature of our work requires a commitment to the feminist analysis of domestic abuse and to the values of Glasgow Women’s Aid. Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you have a driving license and access to a car.
