We are looking for Dynamic and Caring, Care Assistants, to provide personal care and support to residents as directed by senior staff. To maintain a clean, fresh and homely environment, providing person centred care for individuals and groups of residents consistent with their needs through the provision of a range of duties including personal care and meaningful activities.
You will support residents throughout the day to maintain their independence, assist and support them as required.
You will engage and listen to Residents preferences in how they would like to be cared for. Your role will include responding to enquiries from a wide range of people, including families and health professionals.
To undertake this role effectively, you must be able to demonstrate excellent communication, problem solving and people skills. You should have the SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF level 6 or SVQ 2 Health and Social Care or be willing to undertake this within 3 months. We have a pathway for development to Senior Posts, training opportunities and peer supports for staff refresh and learning on various topics.
We are looking for an organised individual with a positive, can-do approach and be able to work well under pressure with Senior Supports.
Annual salary is enhanced with an additional 10% shift allowance for those working Rotational shift pattern
Requirements
