BBR provides advisory and restructuring services to businesses in financial distress, which is often a pre-cursor to a formal insolvency process. We also assist with the orderly closure of successful businesses.
Job description
The Role
We are currently looking to expand our team with an experienced Insolvency Administrator. The successful candidate will oversee their own portfolio of cases predominantly consisting of CVLs and MVLs from start to finish.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has at least 5 years experience working in insolvency and restructuring; an industry that can be challenging but rewarding. The successful candidate will be provided with on-the-job training and receive constant support from senior members of our team. The successful candidate's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Managing a portfolio of insolvency cases.
2. Liaising with creditors, employees and other parties affected by insolvency.
3. Reporting to managers on a regular basis to update them on case progression and any compliance issues encountered.
4. Working with agents to dispose of assets and collect debts, where necessary.
5. Investigating the financial affairs and transactions of insolvent companies and the conduct of directors.
6. Drafting annual and final reports, statement of affairs and other statutory documents.
The Successful Candidate
At BBR we believe in training our team from the initial basics, through to professional accountancy and insolvency qualifications. For this role, we will be considering candidates who have at least 5 years experience.
Requirements:
1. You will have at least 5 years experience working in a firm specialising in insolvency or restructuring.
2. A good working knowledge and understanding of CVL and MVL processes. (Knowledge of other insolvency procedures would be advantageous)
3. You will be interested in progressing your insolvency career and have a willingness to learn quickly.
4. Numerically proficient.
5. You will have good people and communication skills.
6. You must work well in a team and be enthusiastic.
7. Be able to manage your time effectively and commercially.
8. You must be prepared and willing to work full time (9-5 Mon-Fri) at our offices based in Lichfield.
Preferable (but not essential):
1. CPI Qualified
2. A clean UK driving licence

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
