Job Description
We are seeking an organised and efficient Recruitment & Engagement Support professional to join our team in Braintree, United Kingdom. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our organisation's recruitment efforts and employee engagement initiatives.
* Assist in the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, candidate screening, and interview scheduling
* Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with accurate candidate information
* Coordinate and support the onboarding process for new hires
* Help organise and facilitate employee engagement activities and events
* Provide administrative support to overall team, including document management and data entry
* Assist in the preparation of HR reports and presentations
* Respond to basic HR queries from employees and managers
* Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and systems
Qualifications
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
* Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Basic understanding of HR processes and recruitment practices
* 1-2 years of experience in HR, recruitment, or administrative roles
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
* CIPD qualification (desirable)
* Knowledge of UK employment laws and regulations
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
* Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
