The shift pattern for this position is Mon-Fri 0800-2000 excluding PH’s and weekends. Mon-Sun 0800- 1800,0800- 1730,1000-2000, 12:30-2200.

This is an exciting opportunity where we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Health Care Support Worker to join our team within the Day Surgery unit. This unit exists of two theatres, a ward area and a recovery room.
As part of the multidisciplinary team, the Post Holder will provide care to patients before, during and after surgical procedures in support of the trained nurse. You will be required to perform physical, technical and emotional aspects of patient care in an efficient, effective and responsible manner, in a busy acute environment. Previous experience of working within a theatre hospital environment is an advantage, however not essential as training and support will be given.
The successful candidate is required to demonstrate flexibility by working within a service that runs over a 5 day week.

Furthermore, the successful candidate may be expected where necessary to engage in multi-site working within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde in order to achieve the needs of the service
