At the very core, the Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in driving brand awareness, generating demand, and supporting sales efforts through targeted campaigns and effective market positioning. You will form part of the leadership team, helping to set the businesses strategy while leading your own team of marketing professionals. How you do this has the ability to be shaped by your strengths; we’re excited to see what someone could bring to the role to make it their own Main Duties include (but are not limited to): Develop and deliver a marketing strategy to attract leads from new business and existing customers. Build and deliver content-based lead generation and nurturing campaigns to surpass revenue targets. Monitor and manage all leads including verification/qualification and lead nurturing. Nurture leads (including holding initial conversations) to qualify prospective customers up to the point that they can be handed over to sales. Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to arrange and schedule demonstrations for qualified leads as needed. Write rich content that attracts a qualified audience (including blog posts, case studies, eBooks, articles etc.), from conception to delivery - with a focus on long-form pieces. Produce video materials for product demonstrations using video editing software. Promote content through a number of digital channels including email, social media, SEO and the company website. Organise and execute all events for DRAMS including our annual user group event and company webinars. Monitor and manage all marketing performance using our chosen marketing automation platform. Who will I report to? You will report to our Managing Director. However, you will also work closely with other functional teams such as our Product and Professional Services teams. We’d love to chat if you have: A Bachelor’s Degree (at a 2:1 grade or above) in a Marketing, Business or English related subject. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a B2B, content marketing focused role, including - Experience of building sales pipeline via market, customer and competitor awareness / intelligence / analysis Proven experience in a content creation role Experience of lead qualification and nurturing Ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner through producing written materials (blogs, case studies etc.). Excellent project management skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills Ability to effectively interface with senior management, product teams, external agencies and customers. Demonstrable passion for building relationships and supporting sales activity. Must be able to travel internationally, e.g. to attend trade events. Currently holds independent right to work in the UK. It’s not a deal breaker but we would really like it if you also had: Experience of marketing automation tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot). Experience in a marketing role within the software sector. Knowledge or experience of the Spirits and/or Warehousing & Logistics industries. Current valid UK driving licence.
