Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver creative and comprehensive English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
2. Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
3. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share teaching strategies and resources.
5. Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
6. Support the school’s ethos and values, promoting high standards of behavior and achievement.
Qualifications and Experience:
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
8. A degree in English or a related field.
9. Proven experience teaching English at secondary level.
10. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
12. Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
