We are on a mission to revolutionize the quality of education provided to young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), as well as other needs such as Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH). Our goal is to support children and young people with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) in achieving their full potential.
We are seeking experienced educators who share our passion for making a difference in the lives of vulnerable learners. As a SEN / SEND Tutor, you will work closely with our team to provide flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring to young people with diverse learning needs.
**Your Role:**
You will be responsible for planning and delivering individualized sessions to promote academic growth, social-emotional development, and overall well-being. Your expertise will be invaluable in creating a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters engagement and motivation.
**Requirements:**
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS or QTLS)
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience
- Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
- Enhanced DBS clearance
- Ability to work in a way that promotes the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures
