We are seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about providing personalised care and support to our service users. By working with us as a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll be a valued member of a compassionate team dedicated to caring for a gentleman in his 20’s who lives in Norton Canes. Our service user loves music, especially Frozen songs, and enjoys being sung to. He also likes doing arts and crafts. He is immobile and non-verbal, and depends on his care team for all his mobility and transfer needs. He communicates through facial expressions and body language, and he's looking for carers who can understand and interpret his needs well.
Your role? To provide specialist care, manage his clinical interventions and support him to access the things he enjoys. This isn't just a job – it's a chance to have a significant impact on a person's life.
Please note, our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
Pay Rates
* £13.00 - £14.00 per hour
* Approx. £64.00 - £70.00 (per 5-hour day shift)
* Approx. £104.00 - £112.00 (per 8-hour night shift)
Shifts Available
* Part Time
* Days: 9am to 3pm or 3pm to 8pm
* Nights: 10pm to 7am
* Alternative weekends are required
Essential Requirements
* 3 months previous care experience
* Personal Care
* Moving and Handling
* Medication Administration
* Clear Communication Skills
