Summary
Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community.
Duties
The Marine Intercept Program is a part of the Community Counseling Program. This position serves as Clinical Specialist in both Community Counseling Program and Marine Intercept Program, consisting of 50% Community Counseling and 50% Marine Intercept Program services.
1. Implements policies, conducts risk assessments, and provides case management services for MIP and CCP.
2. Serves as the first point of contact for active duty Marines and Sailors with suicidal ideation or attempts.
3. Conducts screenings, assessments, and develops safety plans.
4. Performs diagnosis of mental health disorders and determines treatment levels.
5. Develops and presents case management plans and identifies therapy sources.
6. Plans and implements programs to foster positive family relationships.
7. Represents the Marine Corps at forums concerning Behavioral Health.
8. Prepares required reports and maintains communication with relevant parties.

Qualifications
Master’s Degree in a behavioral science. Must have a current state license to practice as a Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LPC, or Clinical Psychologist. Two years of post-graduate experience in providing individual, group, couples, and family treatment/counseling.
Must be able to obtain and maintain TIER-1 Child Care (CNACI) background checks for positions involving children under 18 years of age.
Education
A minimum of an Associate’s degree in education, social/behavioral sciences or related field with 2+ years’ experience providing adult education or 4+ years’ experience in a similar role.
