The Senior Technical Operations Manager (EMENA) is responsible for Technical governance and performance in Region for all platforms. Ensuring that governance procedures are in place to manage Technical risk across Technical commercialisation, Quality & Food Safety and Occupational Health & Safety.
What you’ll do
As part of the EMENA regional team, you will report into the EMENA Supply Chain Director with a dotted line into the Global Technical Director, managing a team of three technical managers to ensure the delivery of technical governance and compliance across all platforms in the region.
As a Senior Technical Operations Manager (EMENA), your responsibilities will include:
* Driving Technical performance via metrics and targets, reporting and governance reviews with the Regional Executive team.
* Identifying Technical risk and ensuring effective management to eliminate, mitigate, or escalate to the Regional Executive team and the Global Technical Director where appropriate.
* Creating Regional/local country procedures in line with global technical governance and defining ways of working to ensure Technical compliance in the Region.
* Ensuring seamless New Market entry and launch of Platforms new to market by confirming Technical processes with Coca-Cola OU contacts and Bottlers.
* Leading Technical IMCR management in the region, ensuring effective investigation and issue resolution.
Who you are
We’re interested in your unique ingredients:
* Over 5 years Technical or Quality & Food Safety Management experience in a retail or manufacturing environment.
* Commercially aware understanding of significant cost impact of decisions regarding non-compliant products.
* Strong influencing, verbal, written, communication and analytical skills.
* Track record of implementing Governance programs for Supplier Approval, Manufacturing process technology across multiple product categories.
* Formal training in Quality systems management (e.g., ISO 9001, FSCC 2200, BRC Food standard).
* Experience of working in non-UK markets.
* Leading and developing high performing teams.
