The North Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team are seeking to recruit a friendly, proactive and enthusiastic administrator with a motivation to join our challenging yet supportive service.
We are looking for someone to job share with our experienced administrator, to cover Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. We are open to consider flexible working hours within these set days.
Our team is based in Stevenage, and we support service users presenting in a mental health crisis in the Stevenage and North Herts area.
We will offer full support and training to the successful candidate, and welcome diversity within our workforce.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Managing the administrative and secretarial processes within the team.
* Being the first point of contact for service users, families, and professionals contacting the team.
* Supporting the clinical staff in the team.
* Maintaining accurate records and filing systems to support the clinical work of the team.
* Managing stock and ordering systems within the team.

Job responsibilities
The post holder will lead in providing a comprehensive professional and effective administration service to the North Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team.
The post holder will be the first point of contact to the team, therefore must display a considerable degree of initiative. They will need to maintain a calm, friendly, and efficient manner when speaking with service users, their relatives, colleagues, and visitors.
The post holder will be responsible for managing the smooth running of the administrative processes of the team, to ensure effective working in a fast-paced setting. The post holder will be able to show flexibility in their approach to deal with the changeable needs of the service. The post holder will be supported and supervised by the team leaders.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Trained and experienced at intermediate level in a range of office software packages.
* Advanced keyboard skills.
* Good standard of English.
* Diary management skills.
* Advanced secretarial skills such as audio and shorthand.
* Knowledge of terms used by mental health services in their day-to-day working.
Experience
* Previous experience in a secretarial environment.
* Experience in an NHS or mental health services environment.
