These are delivered face-to-face at our training centre in Buxton, at selected venues around the country, at organisations own premises or online. Job description We have an opportunity for 2 Training Administrator apprentices to join our commercial Training and Events team where you will undergo a Business Administrator Level 3 apprenticeship. For more information on the apprenticeship on offer please see here Working as a Training Administrator, you will support the delivery of training activities and events which reach thousands of delegates each year. You will work closely with other members of the team as well as liaising with colleagues from across HSE. You will be supported from day one for your learning and development into this role, ensuring you are supported every step of the way in completing your apprenticeship and getting the experience you need to excel in your new role. You will contribute to the support and organisation of face-to-face and live online training courses under the supervision and support of colleagues. You will undertake activities including those described below, while being flexible and undertaking other duties as needed or requested: Deliver a high level of customer service to internal and external customers Process customer bookings and enquiries by telephone, email and face-to-face Input to and maintain training databases and website Oversight and facilitation of assigned training courses (both face-to-face and live online) Logistical and administration support for training Attendance at off-site and industry events to promote HSE training Qualification requirements A level 2 in English and Maths (GCSE grade 9 - 4/ A - C). Apprentices without level 2 English and Maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the End-Point Assessment. Travel The role may also at times require some travel within the UK. Please note: You will be located onsite at our HSE Buxton site 5 days per week with hybrid options available after roughly 6 months of service. Person specification Essential skills and criteria: The ability to work at pace, both individually and as part of a team Effective organisational skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines Effective communication and IT skills (including the use of Microsoft Office packages) Attention to detail A desire to learn and work collaboratively across different teams Experience of working in a customer-focused environment Eligibility This is a development role so to be eligible to apply, the training and development you receive must provide you with significant new skills and learning. This is an essential requirement for apprenticeship funding and means you must not already hold a similar or higher qualification, be working towards a similar or higher qualification, or be significantly experienced in the Business Administrator modules. If you hold a similar or higher qualification or, are currently working towards a similar or higher qualification in the Business Administrator modules, any offer of employment will be withdrawn. In addition you must: Be aged 16 or over (there is no upper age limit). Have the right to work in the UK and have been ordinarily resident in the UK/EU/EA for 3 consecutive years before starting the apprenticeship. Hold and provide evidence of a level 2 equivalent qualification in Maths and English (I.e., GCSE Grade A-C) or be willing to work towards achieving this as part of the apprenticeship programme.
