Job Purpose
Join the engineering team to ensure plant machinery and equipment are operating smoothly. You’ll be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and plant improvements to meet daily production needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Follow Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) guidelines (HACCP, BRC, ISO22000).
* Monitor and maintain machinery to prevent food safety or health & safety risks.
* Perform repairs and maintenance on plant equipment, including boilers and pasteurisers.
* Handle basic plumbing, fabrication, and pipework tasks.
* Maintain stock of spare parts and equipment knowledge.
* Keep accurate maintenance records.
Skills and Qualifications
* City & Guilds in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering.
* Fabrication skills.
* FMCG or food manufacturing experience preferred.
* Shift work experience.
* Knowledge of HACCP and food safety.
