Job Description
A great opportunity to work on a collaborative team reporting into the Head of Marketing Communications. This remote position will focus on delivering end-to-end marketing materials that contribute to the B2B channel and revenue growth initiatives for Optoma. This position will develop, coordinate and execute product launch materials and customer assets to advance the Optoma brand and its products through unique design concepts, flawless delivery, and overall project management. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, this person must understand the necessary requirements essential to developing a plan from concept through execution and follow up.
Responsibilities:
* Own the role of B2B marketing and communications subject matter expert
* Lead product launch process for B2B products in U.S., Canada and Latin Regions; partner with product management and sales for go-to-market strategy and deliverables monthly.
* Manage customer activities, including e-blasts, flyers, and web site content, and deliver materials accordingly.
* Evaluate metrics from customer marketing activities including digital and social.
* Working with our graphic designer, develop and manager channel content including copywriting, messaging, e-blast copy, case studies, product and promotional flyers, spec sheets, print and digital Ads, newsletters, etc.,
* Digital Marketing – manage Mailchimp lists and e-blast content
* Web site – Responsible for all B2B products, banners and copy on the web sites and manage the CMS.
* Strong copy writing skills to deliver key marketing messages to customers and end users in materials and on websites.
* Manage customer incentive Optoma rewards program with outside vendor.
* Partner with sales to develop and deliver channel tools and marketing programs.
* Partner with Product Marketing Teams to deliver accurate specs and materials.
* Support trade show preparation & event strategy for the B2B channel, including the InfoComm and regional trade shows.
Candidate Specification
Qualifications:
* AV industry or technology industry experience.
* Experience marketing to education sector or manufacturer.
* 3-5 years of experience creating and executing B2B marketing activities and materials in the form of sales driven, integrated programs.
* Must have a broad understanding across multiple marketing disciplines with a strong attention to detail and deep understanding of marketing B2B products through channel partners. Education vertical background is a plus.
* Detailed oriented and organized.
* Track record of creating and delivering fully integrated, measurable marketing programs.
* Experience working closely with sales organizations.
* Experience marketing electronics or high-tech products preferred.
* Strong design, copywriting and editing skills preferred.
* Excellent communicator: verbal and written.
