We've been a force for progress for over 100 years. And it's what's fuelling our next chapter as we power, protect, and connect people everywhere. That's our vision for you, too. Join us and we'll provide an environment where you can be yourself. An inclusive culture that invests in you and gives you access to opportunities where you can grow your career and make a difference.
The programme
Spend four years with our expert team across our Civil Aerospace business, gaining the sort of practical knowledge you simply cannot develop in the classroom.
As you take on placements in different areas of Civil Aerospace, you'll experience the breadth of quality management across design, manufacture, and aftermarket:
1. Customer and regulatory requirements.
2. Product and service design and development.
3. Component manufacturing and assembly.
4. Procurement and supplier management.
5. Aftermarket - including services and product maintenance.
As well as getting on-the-job training on real-life projects, you will also study for a BEng Honours degree with the University of Warwick. Together, this will give you a solid foundation for an exciting career in quality management.
What you will do
Collaborating with teams across the business, you will:
1. Understand customer and regulatory requirements; and ensure there is a means of complying with them.
2. Undertake assurance to give confidence that customer and regulatory requirements will be achieved.
3. Deliver sustainable change to improve business processes and performance.
4. Ensure there is effective governance in place to manage the quality of our products and services.
5. Analyse quality performance and undertake investigations.
Your placements will provide a fantastic opportunity for you to develop a wide range of technical and soft skills that will enable you to challenge, coach and support the business. You will have the opportunity to interface with our customers, suppliers, and regulators. This is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact as part of a world-class Quality team.
What you'll need
1. Five GCSEs which must include Maths at grade 5/B, plus English Language and three other subjects at grade 4/C.
2. 112 UCAS points (obtained or predicted) from either:
1. Three A-Levels at grade BBC. This must include Maths, plus Physics, Engineering or a STEM related subject (excluding Biology) at grade B or above. Plus one other subject at grade C, excluding General Studies.
2. A Level 3 Extended BTEC Diploma in an Engineering or STEM-related subject, along with A-level Maths at grade B.

Every bit as important as your academic achievements, however, are the personal qualities you bring to the role. We look for people who are keen to learn about what makes a global business operate safely and successfully.
Beyond that, you'll be inquisitive and analytical - someone who can ask questions, interrogate data and is always looking for better ways of doing things. You'll also be creative in your ability to solve problems, determined to deliver on commitments, and a strong team player who's able to demonstrate their achievements outside school or college.
Our behaviours drive us - we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference. We'll expect that of you, too.
