We are experts in organising and delivering high-quality bespoke Incentive, Conference and Special Visits programmes for corporate clients.
Our Edinburgh office is looking to recruit a Project Manager.
This exciting and stimulating role requires dedication to a career in the industry and the ability to work under pressure. The role is varied and interesting and no two days are the same.
You will be part of a small team, reporting to a Project Director.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Minimum 18 months DMC experience, organising group events in Scotland.
2. A good geographical knowledge of Scotland, knowing key venues such as hotels and restaurants.
3. The ability to work independently and troubleshoot potential issues.
4. A passion to learn and develop both as an individual and as part of a team executing world-class events.
5. Strong numeracy, logistics and project management skills and able to juggle multiple priorities.
6. Fantastic customer service skills, striving to always exceed expectations.
7. The ability to think creatively about new programme ideas and concepts.
8. Excellent computer skills including fluency in MS Power Point, Excel, Word and Outlook.
9. A Full Driving Licence.

Duties:
1. Analysing client requests and providing clients with creative proposals in response, within a given time frame.
2. Preparing, coordinating and managing all operational aspects of client programmes, reserving hotels, venues and other suppliers required and ensuring delivery of quality at every stage.
3. Assisting in end to end and event management including venue finding, attending site visits, managing the project’s budget and coordinating the projects onsite.
4. Ensuring client files are properly managed and the corresponding accounts procedure is correctly implemented.
5. Developing client and supplier relationships, to maintain and promote future business.
6. Delivering and managing outstanding customer experiences with our customers and our suppliers.
7. Researching and visiting new venues and meeting with new suppliers to enhance our proposals.
8. Actively getting involved in the development of the business.
9. Assisting with ad hoc duties in the running of the business.
Work hours and Benefits
1. Our hours are Monday – Friday, 9.00 am – 5.30 pm. Please note this role requires travel, which may incorporate an earlier start or a later finish. Please also note client event hosting is a necessary part of the role, which may sit outside of office hours.
