Job Title: Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) - Transport Support Officer
Location: Matlock, Derbyshire
Contract: Temporary
Hours: 37 hours per week
Pay Rate: £20.72 per hour
Hybrid working available - 1-2 days in office
Key Responsibilities:
* Daily Operations: Supervise the coordination and delivery of day-to-day transport services for SEND students, ensuring timely and reliable transportation to and from educational settings.
* Transport Planning and Scheduling: Develop and manage efficient transport schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources and adherence to timetables.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary contact for schools, transport providers, and parents, ensuring clear communication and resolution of operational concerns.
* Operational Problem-Solving: Respond promptly to transport incidents, service disruptions, or complaints, coordinating with relevant parties to implement effective solutions.
* Team Player: Assist the managers in supporting and supervising team colleagues.
* Contract Management: Liaise with transport providers to monitor compliance with contractual terms, ensuring high service standards and addressing performance issues promptly.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Experience in transport operations, logistics, or a similar field.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication with diverse stakeholders, including parents, schools, and service providers.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
