The Role
Reporting to: Regional Director (North)
As an RegionalSales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining an existing customer base while identifying and securing new business opportunities across the North West region. This role requires a proactive approach, strong technical product knowledge, and a high level of self-motivation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers to maximize sales and exceed regional KPIs and targets.
Identify and track project opportunities across the North West using tools such as ABI/Glenigan.
Engage with contractors and specialist sub-contractors to generate sales opportunities.
Promote and introduce key initiative products to the market.
Provide comprehensive sales reports, identify key market trends, and present insights to the management team and colleagues.
Deliver accurate and timely estimates for products and services while ensuring required profit margins are maintained.
Maintain a strong focus on customer service and effective communication.
The Candidate
To be successful in this role, you must thrive in a dynamic sales environment where professionalism and customer service excellence are essential. You should be a highly motivated individual with strong relationship-building and negotiation skills, capable of working independently within a fast-paced setting.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Experience in the construction industry is essential.
Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with contractors in the North West of England.
In-depth knowledge of construction materials, including brickwork accessories, waterproofing, gas membranes, and concrete repair products.
A self-starter with the ability to independently manage and organize your workload.
Strong knowledge of the house builder market (advantageous).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Enthusiastic and professional demeanor with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously within a target-driven environment.
Full, clean driving license required.
