HVAC Service Engineer Location: Onsite as required (Covering London & Home Counties) Salary: £43,000 - £50,000 Hours: Standard hours are 7:00 – 15:30. Engineers are paid for 10 hour days to cover travel time. No weekend work but 1 in 25 Saturday call out may be required. Overtime available but not essential, paid at 1.5x rate. This individual will work independently on various projects, ensuring efficient equipment operation and contributing to the overall effectiveness of engineering operations. Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and repairs on split/multi split systems, DX and CW FCUs Independently service VRV and VRF condensers and CRAC units Compile detailed dilapidation reports Conduct preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive repair needs Perform advanced fault finding and diagnostics Deliver accurate and timely work reports to a high standard Ensure all work complies with industry regulations, standards, and company policies Develop and maintain a working knowledge of health and safety procedures General Duties: Uphold company values, vision, and goals Contribute to continuous improvement and development initiatives Adhere to all internal policies and procedures Attend relevant training and development sessions Comply with industry legislation and regulations Undertake additional duties as necessary within the scope of the role Requirements / Skills: Diploma in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent qualification Category 1 F-Gas certification or equivalent Full UK driving licence Strong ability to work collaboratively with engineering and office-based teams Excellent verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work Experience with manufacturer service software Understanding of HVAC data and performance metrics Experience with chillers, AHUs, and refrigeration systems (desirable)
