SEN Teaching Assistant & MDSA / Special Needs Support Assistant - SN25

My client is looking for a compassionate and proactive Teaching Assistant with lunchtime responsibilities, ready to play a vital role in the emotional and educational growth of young learners. This is an opportunity to be part of a nurturing community where every child is valued and celebrated. This role is looking to start ASAP on a 12 month fixed-term contract.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting individual and small groups of pupils with special educational needs.
* Helping children develop confidence, independence, and problem-solving skills.
* Assisting in lesson planning, delivery, and behaviour support.
* Supporting the emotional wellbeing of pupils and encouraging social development.
* Maintaining accurate records and liaising with teachers, SENDCo, and parents.
* Providing inclusive support during lunchtime duties and ensuring pupil safety.
About You
* Be able to do the job as described.
* Have experience working with primary-aged pupils with additional needs.
* Understand and respect the highly confidential nature of the role.
* Hold (or be working toward) a Level 3 qualification in childcare—desirable but not essential.
* Capable of supporting multilingual or bilingual pupils to access the curriculum.
