Senior Repairs Planner required to oversee a team of Schedulers who each run teams of 5-6 trades people (roofers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers). The purpose of the role is to ensure efficiencies by analysing repair jobs checking routes, trade assigned, van stock. The successful person will have a background in scheduling / planning reactive repairs and understand the requirements of social housing maintenance. Main Responsibilities: Managing team of schedulers, providing day to day direction and coaching Analyse operative home locations against job allocations to optimise travel time, reduce costs, and increase productivity Identify and report recurring issues such as incomplete works, missed appointments, or delays in job progression Monitor field team attendance, reporting late starts, early finishes, or no-shows to the Contract Manager for follow-up Proactively identify works that may fall outside the scope of contract and flag to relevant managers for assessment and commercial review Essential Skills / Experience for this role: Proven experience in a senior scheduling or coordination role within reactive maintenance or facilities management In-depth knowledge and experience working with mobile field teams Understanding of KPIs and service performance Experience managing or mentoring teams in an operational setting Familiarity in multi-trade environments highly desirable Company Benefits: Career development opportunities Employee Assistance – access to a range of support and advice by telephone and a via a mobile phone app Free Personal Trainer group sessions after work every Thursday Hamper at Christmas The Details: Full-time office-based position (no remote working) Hours of work 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday On a rota basis there is a requirement to work until 6pm once a month and 1 Saturday in 4 - both paid in addition to the salary
