Within this role you will be involved in weekly in-service training sessions. We also provide an additional Therapy band 6 development programme to support leadership skills. Main duties of the job You will be involved in the assessment and treatment of patients across a wide variety of clinical specialties. Applicants should have completed a core rotation in Respiratory and have Respiratory on-call experience, whilst having relevant experience in managing patients with Musculoskeletal and Neurological conditions. You will support the supervision of band 5 physiotherapists, assistant staff & students on placement. Key skills for this post include confidence in communication, leadership, collaborative working with peers, clinical reasoning, prioritisation, delegation and time management, and a personal desire to develop. Within each clinical area there is the opportunity for involvement in service development, audit and research. The department has a strong emphasis on personal development with links to the School of Nursing, AHPs & Midwifery, and several Universities across the region.
