Accounts Assistant Location: Chester Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per year depending on experience Job Type: Full-time office based Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for a new opportunity? We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established organisation in Birkenhead, seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join their finance team. Key Responsibilities: Assist with accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing. Process monthly sales invoices and manage credit control. Perform daily bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audit purposes. Support the preparation of financial reports and statements. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. AAT qualification or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes. Proficiency in accounting software (such as Xero) is highly desirable. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
