We are currently seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Care Management team on the Isle of Man. Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload within the Care Management team, supporting individuals and families to improve their well-being.
Deliver high-quality, care, ensuring that each service user's needs are met with the best possible solutions.
Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, contributing expert advice and support to colleagues and service users.What We Offer:
Competitive Pay: At £43.00 per hour, you will receive an attractive hourly rate for your expertise, allowing you to make the most of your time on the island.
Accommodation & Travel: For staff contracted to work on the island, accommodation is provided, with the possibility of staying in staff accommodation for up to 3 months, extendable for a further 3 months. After this period, you will receive a £600 accommodation allowance to help you secure your own housing. Additionally, we offer FREE monthly flights home, providing the opportunity to stay connected with family and friends.
Manageable Caseload & Support: You will benefit from a manageable caseload, giving you the time and space to focus on providing high-quality care. A supportive manager is in place to guide and assist you in your role, ensuring you thrive in your new position.
Work-Life Balance: With standard working hours of 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Monday to Thursday, and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Fridays, this role allows for a balanced lifestyle, so you can fully enjoy the beauty and tranquility of island life.
Full-Time Island Life: The role requires candidates to be based full-time on the island, which offers a unique and enriching experience for those seeking a change of scenery while advancing their career.What We Require:
A Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
An enhanced DBS check (criminal convictions should be disclosed as early as possible).
Two professional references, one of which must be from your most recent employer.
A valid driver's license with your own car and appropriate business insurance.Important Notes:
The role is within IR35, meaning candidates will be required to use an Umbrella Company to manage taxes for this island assignment.
Full-time presence on the island is required throughout the contract.Application Process:
