Porter, Radiology, Band 2
Up to 37.5 hours per week available
Work as a member of the team that provides 24/7 radiography services. Transfer patients and objects to and from the department of radiology, prioritising the order in which patients are brought to the department in partnership with coordinating radiology professionals.
Applicants must have a flexible approach to working hours and be able to work on a shift rota including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays to cover service needs. Part-time working will be considered.
Radiology porters are required to assist with day-to-day duties that are necessary for the smooth running of the department. These duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Transportation of patients to and from wards and other departments
2. Working with a variety of people including staff at all levels, patients, and visitors
3. Using computer systems
Applicants must have good customer service and communication skills.
