Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a Mechanical bias to assist in the delivery of Total FM contracts across a patch of schools based in Swindon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building services and facilities engineering, with experience in maintenance of campus buildings, electrical & mechanical systems, and associated component parts.
The successful candidate will join our Total FM team based in Swindon, Wiltshire, providing integrated asset management and maintenance services across various sectors. This is a full-time role, with a weekly rotating shift pattern of 7am-3pm and 10am-6pm.

Key Responsibilities:
* Maintenance of buildings, electrical & mechanical systems, and associated component parts
* Responsible for building fabric repairs, air handling system maintenance, minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work
* Supervision of contractors to ensure they follow safe systems of work
* Completing all preventative planned maintenance checks, including Fire door checks, Emergency light testing, Fire extinguisher & fire blanket checks, and communal lighting checks
* Undertaking building audits
Requirements:
* Experience and knowledge of building services and facilities engineering
* Good health & safety knowledge
* Full driving licence
* SSSTS, IOSH, or NEBOSH qualification
* City & Guilds level 3 in plumbing

Salary:
$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
