What will you be doing as our new Outcomes and Assurance Analyst?
Responsible for the development of a comprehensive assurance process based on organisational and operational insights, to effectively manage and assure our reporting and rigour on reportable events. The role will improve our current performance and utilisation of data and systems, within a new framework for Quality Assurance and governance. The Outcomes & Assurance Analyst will also be responsible for ensuring WR Networks operations not only understand the guidance and processes, but will actively encourage and coach teams to improve their performance.
Key responsibilities:
* Understand the predefined Water Recycling Networks/Alliance performance commitments (PCL) and track appropriately within a framework for increased assurance.
* Analyse the data to identify trends, patterns, and insights used to build reports and give commentary for our reportable stakeholders.
* Ensure that activities within the assurance plan are followed and completed whilst undertaking a comprehensive Quality Assurance process in line with the assurance contract to identify and mitigate potential risks to achieving the PCL.
* Implement corrective actions based on the findings and recommendations of the assurance assessments and monitor the effectiveness of these actions.
* Work with Asset Management, Water Recycling Networks (WRN) Performance and WRN operations to develop an end-to-end process for assuring our flooding and pollution performance with defined objectives and outcomes for each component part. Support Asset Management, WRN performance and WRN Operational teams with producing reports from the SAP system.
What does it take to be an Outcomes and Assurance Analyst?
* You’ll have proven experience of using data and information to develop and visualise data in a comprehensible way to aid business priorities.
* You will have a keen eye for detail and be an experienced user of a range of IT systems.
* An understanding of the legislation which is used to regulate the Water and Wastewater industry would be beneficial.
* Demonstrable experience of managing and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
* An understanding of NEC3 forms of contract would be beneficial and excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft packages is desirable.
* Able to plan, prioritise and organise workload so that targets and deadlines are met to ensure efficient and effective support, you’ll operate with a proactive and flexible approach to managing changing team priorities.
* Comfortable manipulating and presenting data/information in a clear, concise and most appropriate way, you’ll always seek collaboration to ensure we leverage the power of the alliances.
