Role Overview : As a Tool & Die Maintenance Service Engineer/Technician, you'll perform skilled, detailed work maintaining engineering tooling used for producing components, products, and assemblies. Key Responsibilities: Tooling Maintenance and Manufacturing: Manufacture new tooling according to engineering drawings and timing plans. Conduct proactive maintenance on moulding tools, ensuring they are production-ready. High Standards Compliance: Maintain exceptional standards of housekeeping and health & safety. Carefully store all parts of the tool to prevent damage. Root Cause Analysis: Investigate issues to determine root causes and communicate findings to the design department and management to prevent recurrence. Collaborate with setters on mould tool issues. Systematic Approach: Follow instructions meticulously and maintain tooling to specified standards. Accurately log concerns, issues, and repairs. Equipment Maintenance: Manage spares and equipment to minimize repair times. Keep your work area clean and organized, adhering to 5S principles. Effective Communication: Work closely with team members, designers, and CAD/CAM programmers to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Precision Work: Maintain high tolerances, ensuring precision and quality in all tasks. What We're Looking For: Proven experience in tool and die maintenance. Strong proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and technical instructions. Excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
