Lecturer A in English
Bolton College is looking to appoint an ambitious, talented, and enthusiastic Lecturer A in English to join our flourishing team. You will provide high quality and inclusive teaching and learning on GCSE/Functional Skills and non-accredited Community Learning courses. Applications from NQTs are welcome.
Location: Bolton [Greater Manchester]
Salary: £26,219 - £31,047 Per Year, Market Forces may apply in addition to a £2,500 Golden Hello Payment (T&C Apply)
Market Forces may apply and would allow for a salary up to £39,316 per annum
Ideally, you will:
* Teaching qualification (Cert Ed/PGCE).
* Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
* Proven track record in the teaching of English GCSE to 16–18-year-olds.
* Experience of embedding English into vocational or academic programmes of study.
* Experience of developing and designing interactive learning materials and innovative resources to meet personalised learning requirements.
Day-to-day you will be responsible for:
* Delivering high quality and inclusive teaching and learning on one or more courses.
* Supporting curriculum management on curriculum and course development.
* Complying with all quality assurance procedures and systems within the area of responsibility.
* Developing resources, supporting teaching programmes, and delivering on a number of courses as required.
* Supporting the achievement of annual targets for learner numbers, income, expenditure, and success rates.
