Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, and overheads. Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring adherence to financial plans. Conduct regular cost analysis and reporting to identify variances and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure effective cost control measures are implemented. Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate terms to achieve the best value for the project. Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to the project. Provide advice on procurement strategies and risk management throughout the project lifecycle. Experience Proven experience in cost control within the construction industry is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
