Empowering Learning is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support ASD & ADHD students in a Secondary school based in Barnet, London. Ideal candidates are able to work with students throughout all key stages and age groups.
We also offer Team Teach training for free and other great CPD courses. Team Teach is an accredited de-escalation qualification that helps with health and safety as well as intervening in challenging behaviour scenarios.
Working with special needs is rewarding, presenting exciting new challenges every day. The school is based in Tower Hamlets, East London, and caters to students who have Learning Difficulties, ADHD, and Autism.

This role is focused on KS3 & 4 only. The school measures and assesses the impact of the careers program on students by tracking their destinations and considering, on an individual basis, whether this represents a new challenge for them, continuing their journey towards fulfilment, belonging, and independence. Empowering Learning is fully compliant with Agency Worker Regulations, ensuring you receive equal treatment for pay and conditions after a 12-week qualifying period. Successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory references and must possess an up-to-date DBS or be willing to apply for a new one through Empowering Learning.
